The police were tracking Zoboriya’s location, but at this moment she had absolutely no idea what was happening outside. Somewhere in the city, officers were trying to follow the signal of her phone, hoping they could reach her before it was too late.
But Zoboriya knew nothing about that.
She had simply reached the place that Safwan had told her to come to.
It was a huge, deserted hall located on the outskirts of the city. The building looked abandoned from the outside, and the silence around it felt heavy and unsettling.
Inside, the hall was dimly lit.
A few yellow lights hung from the ceiling, flickering every few seconds as if they might go out at any moment. Their weak glow created long shadows on the walls, making the atmosphere even more frightening.
Several men dressed in black stood around the hall.
They were quiet, motionless, and watching.
Every single pair of eyes was fixed on Zoboriya.
For a moment, she felt as if she had walked straight into a trap.
Her heart began beating wildly in her chest.
It felt so loud that she was sure everyone in the room could hear it.
Still, she forced herself to remain calm.
She had come here for one reason only.
To save AbuZarr and Ehsan.
Taking a deep breath, she slowly stepped forward. Each step echoed in the silent hall, making the place feel even more tense.
Suddenly, a deep voice echoed from behind her.
“So… you finally came, Zoboriya.”
The voice sent a shiver down her spine.
Startled, she quickly turned around.
And there he was.
Safwan.
He stood a few steps away, wearing a long black overcoat that made him look even more intimidating.
A cold and dangerous smile rested on his lips.
But what frightened Zoboriya the most was the look in his eyes.
There was something dark in them… something obsessive.
And beneath it all, a strange sparkle — the look of someone who believed he had finally obtained something he had been chasing for a long time.
Trying to steady her trembling voice, Zoboriya said,
“Yes… I’m here, Safwan. Now let AbuZarr and Ehsan go.”
Safwan didn’t answer immediately.
Instead, he slowly began walking toward her.
His steps were calm, almost casual, as if he had been waiting for this moment for years.
When he finally stopped, he was standing very close to her.
Too close.
His eyes moved slowly across her face, as if memorizing every detail.
“Zoboriya…” he said softly.
“Do you even realize how long I have waited for this moment?”
She remained silent.
Safwan continued,
“Two years.”
His voice carried a strange mixture of pain and madness.
“For two long years, I searched for you… thought about you… dreamed about you.”
Then he leaned slightly closer.
“You have no idea how thirsty my eyes were just to see you again.”
Before Zoboriya could react, Safwan reached forward and grabbed both of her hands.
His grip was firm.
Possessive.
Zoboriya’s face flushed with anger.
She immediately tried to pull her hands away.
“Safwan, please… leave my hand!”
But instead of letting go, Safwan tightened his grip.
His expression hardened.
“No, Zoboriya.”
His voice turned cold.
“You belong only to me.”
His eyes burned with jealousy.
“So why should I let go of these hands for someone else?”
Zoboriya took a deep breath, trying to control the fear rising inside her.
Yes, she was terrified.
The hall.
The men surrounding them.
Safwan’s unstable behavior.
Everything about the situation was dangerous.
But she refused to show fear.
Looking straight into his eyes, she said firmly,
“Safwan, you cannot force me like this.”
Her voice echoed slightly in the silent hall.
“You called me here by threatening AbuZarr and Ehsan’s lives.”
Her jaw tightened.
“That’s the only reason I came.”
The moment she mentioned AbuZarr, something dark flashed across Safwan’s face.
Jealousy.
Anger.
Possessiveness.
All mixed together.
He laughed bitterly.
“You care so much about that AbuZarr…”
he said sarcastically.
Then his eyes narrowed.
“And now you’ve started worrying about that Ehsan too.”
He stepped even closer.
“You care about everyone, Zoboriya…”
His voice dropped into a whisper.
“…except me.”
For a moment, the pain in his voice was real.
But it quickly turned into anger again.
The men standing around remained silent, watching the scene unfold.
The tension in the air grew heavier.
Still, Zoboriya didn’t back down.
She gathered every bit of courage she had and said,
“Safwan… why don’t you try to understand this?”
Her voice had become steady now.
“AbuZarr is my love.”
She swallowed, remembering everything she had gone through for him.
“You have no idea how long I waited for him.”
Safwan’s fists clenched tightly.
But Zoboriya continued.
“I don’t love you, Safwan.”
Her words were sharp and clear.
“And I cannot even imagine loving anyone other than AbuZarr.”
She looked directly into his eyes.
Fearlessly.
“Love cannot be created by force.”
Her voice softened slightly.
“It’s a feeling of the heart… something that cannot be controlled or changed.”
For a few seconds, silence filled the hall.
Then Safwan’s face twisted with rage.
Suddenly, he grabbed Zoboriya by her shoulders and shook her violently.
“ZOBORIYA!”
His voice echoed loudly through the hall.
“You belong to me!”
His grip tightened.
“And you will have to love me!”
His eyes had turned wild.
Almost insane.
“Because I love you!”
he shouted.
“I love you more than anyone else ever could!”
But what Zoboriya didn’t know…
was that this entire scene was being captured by hidden cameras.
And at that very moment…
inside a dark room somewhere in the building…
AbuZarr was watching everything on a screen.
His hands were tightly tied to a chair with thick ropes.
When he saw Safwan shaking Zoboriya…
rage exploded inside him.
“SAFWAN!”
he roared.
He struggled violently against the ropes.
The chair shook under his force.
“I swear I will kill you!”
His breathing became heavy and furious.
“Just let my hands get free once!”
His eyes burned with anger.
“You touched my Zoboriya… you hurt her…”
His voice trembled with fury.
“You will never be happy!”
Beside him, Ehsan was tied to another chair.
He looked at AbuZarr with concern.
“Relax, AbuZarr.”
he said slowly.
But AbuZarr wasn’t listening.
His eyes were fixed on the screen.
Ehsan sighed and said,
“We’re helpless right now.”
He looked back at the monitor.
Where Safwan and Zoboriya stood facing each other.
“For now…”
he said quietly,
“…we can only watch
