As soon as Safwan tried to get up from the floor, the loud footsteps of boots echoed through the hall.
Within seconds, the police stormed inside.
“Police! Nobody move!” one of the officers shouted.
Safwan’s men looked at each other in panic, but it was too late. Armed officers quickly surrounded them. One by one, they were forced to drop their weapons and raise their hands.
Two officers grabbed Safwan before he could react.
“Let go of me!” Safwan shouted angrily as they handcuffed him.
His eyes were burning with rage.
Then his gaze fell on Zoboriya.
“Zoboriya… you betrayed me!” he shouted furiously.
“I told you not to inform the police!”
Safwan struggled in the officers’ grip, glaring at her as if he wanted to destroy her with his eyes.
Zoboriya slowly stepped forward.
Her face was calm, but her eyes were strong.
“Safwan,” she said firmly, “this time I didn’t want to take any risk.”
She paused for a moment before continuing.
“I should have made sure you were punished the last time. If I had done that, you wouldn’t have repeated these crimes today.”
Safwan clenched his fists in anger.
“You don’t understand anything!” he shouted.
But Zoboriya didn’t step back.
“You already tried to separate me and AbuZarr once before with your dirty tricks,” she said.
“But not anymore, Safwan. This time you will face the consequences of your actions.”
By then, AbuZarr and Ahsan had reached her.
AbuZarr looked at her worriedly.
“Zobo… are you okay?” he asked softly, gently holding her shoulders.
Zoboriya nodded and gave him a small smile.
“Yes, AbuZarr. I’m fine.”
For a moment, relief washed over AbuZarr’s face.
After everything they had been through, seeing her safe was all that mattered to him.
Zoboriya then turned toward the police officer who had just arrived.
“Thank you so much for helping us,” she said sincerely.
The officer smiled politely.
“You’re welcome, Zoboriya.”
Then he looked at Safwan and said something that surprised everyone.
“In fact, we should be thanking you.”
The three of them looked at him in confusion.
The officer continued seriously,
“Because of you, a very dangerous criminal has finally been captured.”
He folded his arms and added,
“You probably don’t know this, but Safwan is one of the biggest drug suppliers we’ve been searching for. The Canadian police have been tracking him for a long time.”
AbuZarr, Zoboriya, and Ahsan were stunned.
They had never imagined that Safwan was involved in something so dangerous.
Meanwhile, Safwan glared at them with pure hatred.
“This isn’t over,” he muttered angrily as the officers dragged him away.
Within a few minutes, the police had taken Safwan and his men outside.
Before leaving, the officer turned toward Ahsan.
“And Mr. Ahsan,” he said with a friendly smile, “your Gul Mehar has been safely dropped at your home.”
Ahsan felt a huge wave of relief.
“Thank you, officer,” he said gratefully.
The officer nodded and walked outside.
The hall slowly became quiet again.
After a long and terrifying night, everything was finally over.
Zoboriya looked at AbuZarr.
Because of her courage, AbuZarr and Ahsan were alive today.
And not only that…
A dangerous criminal had finally been brought to justice.
