Finding Strength in Solitude: Allah, Faith, and the Journey Through Loneliness

Finding Strength in Solitude

When we become completely lonely and find ourselves all alone, there is often no one beside us… except Allah. At that moment, Allah becomes our only source of comfort and support.

We console ourselves. We look at the tears in our eyes in the mirror and speak to ourselves with the same affection we once received from someone we loved—

"Don't be upset… I'm here with you. Don't cry, please. I'm here… and my Allah is with me too."

When there is no one around, we become our own friends. At night, we turn to our side and cry quietly, then speak to our own heart—

"Please stop crying… your tears hurt me so much. Don't cry, please… my heart, just be quiet."

Perhaps we have to spend a long part of our lives this way—alone. We have to carry our own pain, wipe our own tears, and somehow put our broken hearts back together.

Maybe Allah has made us strong enough to endure our own struggles without having to tell everyone about every pain we carry inside.

After all, who is there who can truly understand all our pain?

Who can see the tears hidden behind our silence?

Who can understand, without being told, how broken we are inside?

Sometimes, there is no one…

There is only us, our heart, and our Allah.

And perhaps this very realization teaches us, again and again, how to keep going. đŸ€

The Qur’an says:

“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.”

(Surah Ash-Sharh 94:6)

And perhaps this is the truth—when every door seems to be closed, the door of Allah is still open. đŸ€

The World and Our Lord

As we grew older, we began to realize that Allah is the One who is always with us and always near us. There is no one who can offer us more love, belonging, and genuine support than Him.

Allah watches over us in every way. He knows even our silence and understands what lies within our hearts. No matter how many mistakes we make or how many times we fall into sin, when we sincerely turn back to Him, He accepts our repentance and forgives us.

But, honestly… this world is strange.

From a distance, it looks so beautiful and colorful. There are relationships, friendships, love, smiling faces, and countless beautiful moments… yet behind all these colors, this world can also be full of selfishness and hidden motives.

Here, people are not always what they appear to be.

Some people meet us with a smile while keeping something completely different in their hearts. Some make us feel that they will always be there for us, but when the difficult times come, they are often the first ones to walk away.

Perhaps this world has taught us one important lesson:

Not every smiling face is truly ours, and not every silent person is a stranger.

So now, we have learned to connect our hearts less with people and more with our Allah.

Because the world can change.

People can change.

Relationships can change…

But Allah’s companionship never changes. đŸ€
