Beyond Safwan’s Silence: When One-Sided Love Turns Into Obsession

 Beyond Safwan’s Silence

It was the same window.

The same place where Safwan had once watched Zoboriya walk away…

and where today, he watched Abuzar return.

Safwan sat there as always — unmoved, untouched — as if time had chosen him to stay behind.

The tea beside him had gone cold.

But his eyes still carried warmth — the kind that refuses to die.

In his hand was a letter.

A letter Zoboriya never read.

A letter Safwan never sent.

“Zoboriya,

If one day you ever collide with my loneliness,

don’t be afraid…

It only carries the words

I was never brave enough to say.”

He folded it again — just like every other day.

But this time, something was different.

This time… even his silence felt exhausted.

A Meeting — Coincidence or a Test?

A few days later.

Inside a quiet bookstore, Zoboriya stood flipping through an old novel.

Then — a familiar scent.

Cool. Still. Real.

She turned.

Safwan.

Their eyes met — no questions, no wounds — only an unexpected calm.

“How are you?”

His voice hadn’t changed.

“I’m okay…” she replied, then softly,

“And you?”

“Still alone,” he said,

“But no longer bitter.”

They smiled.

A smile that once slipped through their fingers —

now returned without taking anything away.

Only giving something back.

When Love Doesn’t Return — It Transforms

Zoboriya and Abuzar were together now.

Their love wasn’t unfinished —

it had simply chosen its own ending.

Safwan remained alone — but no longer shattered.

He didn’t lose love.

He released it.

Now, he helped those who had lost themselves in love.

“I couldn’t become someone’s destiny,

So now I try to heal the broken destinies of others.”

The Silence That Never Leaves

Safwan no longer poured his words into diaries.

He shaped them into other people’s smiles.

Yet some nights…

When the world slept,

He returned to the window.

Made tea — not for himself,

but for a memory that never left.

And with the first sip, he whispered:

“Some people are never whole…

But love feels complete because of them.”

Bayaan Café – Tape #15: The Conspiracy of One-Sided Love

There was no smoke in Safwan’s eyes anymore.

There was fire.

Because across the café — Abuzar and Zoboriya were laughing.

Abuzar leaned closer, whispered something.

A blush crept across Zoboriya’s face.

That smile.

That laughter.

It cut Safwan open.

Jealousy stirred — quiet, stubborn, dangerous.

“If she can’t be mine…

She won’t belong to anyone else either.”

Love turned into obsession.

Not prayer.

Not pain.

A plan.

Plan A – Emotional Drift

• Expose Abuzar’s past

• Break Zoboriya’s trust

• Pull her closer — slowly

His fingers weren’t dipped in ink anymore.

They were dipped in conspiracy.

Bayaan Café – Tape #16: Stains That Cannot Be Hidden

“Forgive Abuzar.”

Zoboriya froze.

Safwan’s words carried poison wrapped in calm.

He spoke of a girl named Aamna.

Of promises.

Of abandonment.

Doubt settled like dust in Zoboriya’s heart.

The book slipped from her hands.

And when Abuzar came the next morning —

She wasn’t there.

Only a line remained:

“Sometimes the truth arrives so late,

that even love begins to feel like a lie.”

Far away…

Safwan smiled.

One crack was enough.

Or so he thought.

🔮 Next Short Part

Part Title: When Truth Demands a Voice

Abuzar stood alone in Bayaan Café, staring at the empty chair.

For the first time, love didn’t feel warm —

it felt threatened.

He knew one thing now:

Silence would cost him everything.

And somewhere…

Safwan’s lie was about to meet the truth it couldn’t survive.
